Curly toes

Curly toes is when one or more toes curl under the others. This is usually present from birth and most people who experience this syndrome do not experience any unpleasant symptoms.

In cases where the condition does cause pain, a variety of treatment options are available, from physiotherapy to orthotics, insoles or surgery. The aim of surgery would be to correct the alignment of the toes, which would reduce discomfort and optimise function.

Surgery might involve releasing and lengthening tight tendons in the foot, which would correct the positioning of the toe, and cutting, reshaping & repositioning bones in the toes.
